my best experience in christmas

I would like to talk about my Christmas' day last year.
As usual, the whole family come over to our house on Christmas eve. We hadn't seen each other for a long time an it was really special because everybody was there, nobody was missing.
At 9 o'clock everybody sat down to eat. My aunt had prepared turkey, it was delicius and juicy. My mum had made a special desert. She had just gone to the kitchen to take it out of the fridge when my cousin Miguel suddenly held is girlfriend's hand, his face was red and he asked us to be quiet. He then asked her to marry him, and she began to cry. We were very surprised but really happy.
They are my first cousins to get married and they made Christmas extra special. I will never forget that day.
